STMicroelectronics EVLSPIN32G0A1 Brushless Motor Driver Eval Board

STMicroelectronics EVLSPIN32G0A1 Brushless Motor Driver Evaluation Board implements the STSPIN32G0A1 advanced brushless motor controller with the STM32G0 MCU. The power stage comprises six STD140N6F7 60V MOSFETs in STripFET F7 technology operating up to 45V and delivering up to 15 Arms. The EVLSPIN32G0A1 board supplies a three-shunt sensing topology, ideal for high-performance Field-Oriented Control and 6-step algorithms. The board provides a complete set of protections, including voltage monitoring, PCB temperature monitoring, overcurrent comparator, and UVLO on gate driver supplies.

A dedicated connector enables interfacing with both digital Hall-effect-based position sensors and incremental encoders. The STSPIN32G0A1’s embedded MCU firmware is programmed and debugged via the onboard STLINK V2-1, which also delivers UART communication through Virtual COM and direct binary download (mass storage peripheral).

The STMicro EVLSPIN32G0A1 board, combined with the STM32 Motor Control SDK, is developed to support engineers in testing, developing, and validating motor control designs for applications such as power tools, home appliances, fans, and pumps.
