MEAN WELL RSD-30/60 Reliable Railway DC-DC Converters
MEAN WELL RSD-30/60 DC-DC Converters feature a wide 4:1 input range and 4000VDC input/output isolation. These 30W and 60W units are characterized by 5G anti-vibration ability, -40°C to +70°C operating temperature range, and 1U low-profile (25mm). The converters are equipped with a built-in constant current limiting circuit and offer protections for overload, short circuit, output overvoltage, and input reverse polarity. The design complies with ITE standards (IEC60950-1 and EN55032) and railway certificates (EN50155, EN45545-2, and IEC60571).
MEAN WELL RSD-30/60 DC-DC Converters deliver efficiency up to 93%. The DC-DC converters are semi-encapsulated for the protection of PCBs, providing the basic ability of anti-moisture, anti-dust, anti-vibration, and heat dissipation. The converters can be cooled without forced-air cooling equipment and still work at ambient temperatures up to +70°C, making these units ideal for harsh environments. Applications include railways, subways, metro rapid transit systems, buses, leisure trailers, vessels, and more.
