Optical Bypass Devices

Formerica Optical Bypass Devices are compact boxes that contain optical transceivers and optical switch control circuit boards. The devices feature reliable passive fiber bypass (latching), low return loss, and are available in 50/125μm. The devices are targeted to inline network systems that maintain network connectivity when a power failure occurs or system fails, particularly for Data Centers.
