Toshiba Next-Generation ESD Protection Diodes

Toshiba Next-Generation ESD Protection Diodes are used for power supply circuits in mobile devices such as smartphones and wearable devices. A choice of operating voltages (3.6V, 5.5V, 12.6V) and packages (SOD962, SL2, SOD963, CST2C, SOT553, USC, and DFN10) provides flexible options for realizing ESD protection against static electricity and noise in various designs.

These Toshiba devices simultaneously deliver low capacitance, low dynamic resistance, and high ESD endurance. The ultralow capacitance guarantees minimum signal distortion of high-speed data signals. Typical dynamic resistance of 0.08Ω and 0.5Ω ensures low clamping voltages and protects semiconductor devices from static electricity and noise.

High ESD protection levels are supported as electrostatic discharge voltages of at least ±15kV and ±16kV according to IEC61000-4-2 are guaranteed.
