Skyworks Solutions Inc. Si823Hx Isolated Gate Drivers

Skyworks Solutions Inc. Si823Hx Isolated Gate Drivers are robust gate drivers for Silicon, GaN, or SiC-based power converter systems such as SMPS or inverters. These gate drivers feature robust 30V driver VDD, low latency, noise filtering, 125kV/μs high CMTI, -5V voltage withstand on output pins, and overtemperature protection. Skyworks Si823Hx drivers employ a driver boost stage that provides an increased current drive capability during the Miller plateau region or faster turn-on times. These isolated drivers are based on the CMOS capacitive isolation technology and offer UVLO protection and dead-time programmability.

Skyworks Si823Hx drivers combine two isolated gate drivers into a single package for high-power applications. These drivers include devices with single or dual control inputs with independent or high-side/low-side outputs. The Si823Hx family offers longer service life and dramatically higher reliability compared to opto-coupled gate drivers. Automotive Grade is available for certain part numbers. These products are built using automotive-specific flows at all steps in the manufacturing process to ensure the robustness and low defectivity required for automotive applications.
