Mouser-Sponsored Indy Team Set for Race at Texas Motor Speedway
Champion Driver Sebastien Bourdais to Visit Mouser's World Headquarters
Mouser-sponsored championship IndyCar driver Sebastien Bourdais (pictured here celebrating his win at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg earlier this year) will visit Mouser's headquarters in the week leading up to the DXC Technology 600 at Texas Motor Speedway.
June 6, 2018 - With six races in the rearview, the Mouser-sponsored Dale Coyne Racing with Vasser-Sullivan No. 18 car heads to the DXC Technology 600 at the Texas Motor Speedway, just north of Mouser's world headquarters. Championship driver Sebastien Bourdais, who is piloting the Mouser-sponsored entry this year in the Verizon IndyCar Series, will be making a special appearance at Mouser's Mansfield, Texas, headquarters a few days before the June 9 race.
Mouser, the industry's leading new product introduction distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, is very proud to again team up with valued supplier Molex to sponsor Bourdais and the Dale Coyne Racing with Vasser-Sullivan team for the entire 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series. The 2018 season marks the 23rd year of the IndyCar Series.
"The past year has been extraordinary for Bourdais, and we look forward to showing him and the team some Texas hospitality during their visit to Mouser's headquarters," said Todd McAtee, Mouser Electronics' Vice President, Americas Business Development. "All of us are excited to host them at Mouser and wish them a great race on Saturday."
Mouser first sponsored IndyCar racing in 2011 as an inventive way to communicate its performance-driven business model and promote the newest technologies. The Mouser- and Molex-sponsored car won the Indianapolis 500 in 2013.
"Molex is proud to once again team up with Mouser to sponsor the No. 18 car throughout the 2018 season," said Fred Bell, vice president of global distribution for Molex. "Our sponsorship demonstrates our commitment to develop innovative products that help advance the automotive industry."
After the race at the Texas Motor Speedway, the series travels to the Kohler Grand Prix at Elkhart Lake, Wisc., on June 24, and the Iowa Corn 300 at Newton on July 8, followed by six additional races before ending the season at the Grand Prix of Sonoma on September 16.
