Mouser Electronics Announces Jeff Newell's Promotion to President, Effective January 1
November 18, 2024 – Mouser Electronics Inc., the industry's leading New Product Introduction (NPI)™ distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, today announces the promotion of Jeff Newell to the position of President of Mouser Electronics, effective on January 1, 2025.
Beginning January 1, 2025, the roles of President and CEO will be split. Glenn Smith will continue as CEO. Jeff Newell will be promoted to the position of President. Newell will be the third president in Mouser's history.

Jeff Newell joined Mouser in 2013 as senior vice president of products. He has more than 30 years of experience in semiconductor sales, distribution, international business development and management.
"Jeff has delivered great results here at Mouser," said Smith. "His experience and judgment will further strengthen Mouser's position globally. I am confident in his leadership, commitment to our business, and his ability to drive the company to succeed."
