Würth Elektronik High-Current Inductors

Würth Elektronik High-Current Inductors are designed with better mechanical stability for better performance. The WE-HCFT series features THT high-current inductors with extremely low DCR, low core losses (MnZn), and up to 200% higher current capability than the WE-HCF 2815 series. The magnetically shielded WE-HCFT fixed inductors are available in round and flat wire options. The round version achieves comparable inductance values in a smaller package than the flat version. Typical applications include storage inductors for high-efficiency DC-DC converters, high-current power supplies, battery chargers, and solar inverters.

The automotive WE-HCFA series is AEC-Q200 qualified and available in a 2818 package size with six inductance values from 1µH to 10µH. The high-current WE-HCFA flat wire inductors feature up to 47A rated current, 14A to 81A saturation currents, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +150°C. WE-HCFA inductors are ideal for automotive DC-DC converters and can be used as filters for infotainment and audio applications.

Würth Elektronik High Current Inductors are offered in several package sizes: 2012, 2523, 3231, 3521, 3533, 3540, and 3635.
