Vishay IHLE 4040 Low Profile, High Current Inductors with e-field Shield
Vishay/Dale IHLE-4040DC-5A Series is an automotive grade high-current, low-profile SMD inductor. An integrated e-shield, when connected to ground, provides up to -20 dB EMI reduction at 1cm. Cost and board space savings occur by eliminating the need for separate shielding. Vibration protection is provided via the 4-terminal connection with ≤ 100µm coplanarity. Additionally, a high-temperature operation up to +155ºC and AEC-Q200 compliance make the IHLE-4040DC-5A Series ideal for DC/DC converter energy storage and high-current filtering for automotive applications. The inductor provides high resistance to thermal shock, moisture, and mechanical shock as well.
