Texas Instruments TPUL2T323/-Q1 Monostable Multivibrators

Texas Instruments TPUL2T323/-Q1 Monostable Multivibrators integrate two independent extended-pulse-width, RC-configurable retriggerable monostable multivibrators for 1.5V to 5.5V operation. Pulse timing is configured with external resistor and capacitor values, providing an approximate output pulse width of two ≅ 1000 x R x C.

The TPUL2T323/-Q1 devices include rising-edge and falling-edge trigger inputs, as well as an asynchronous clear input to stop an active output pulse. Schmitt-trigger inputs help accommodate slow signal transitions while enhancing noise immunity in timing and pulse-generation circuits. These devices are offered in a wettable-flank QFN package, support RC timing from 10ms to 880s, and use extended pulse-width functionality to reduce the capacitor value needed for long-duration pulses by a factor of 1000. The devices also provide TTL-compatible operation with a 4.5V to 5.5V supply and single-supply voltage translation for selected up-translation and down-translation needs.

The TI TPUL2T323/-Q1 is designed for applications such as demodulating a digital Amplitude Shift Keying (ASK) signal, resetting a system for a fixed period of time, generating a positive fixed-width digital pulse, detecting rising or falling digital signal edges, and debouncing a switch.

The TPUL2T323-Q1 is AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.
