Texas Instruments SN74ACT8541/SN74ACT8541-Q1 Eight-Channel Buffers

Texas Instruments SN74ACT8541/SN74ACT8541-Q1 Eight-Channel Buffers contain eight independent buffers with 3-state outputs and Schmitt-trigger outputs. All channels can be simultaneously forced into the high-impedance state using either output enable inputs (OE1 or OE2). These devices have an operating voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V. The Texas Instruments SN74ACT8541-Q1 devices are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.

Features

  • Operating voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V
  • TTL-compatible Schmitt-trigger inputs support slow and noisy input signals
  • Continuous ±24mA output drive at 5V
  • Supports up to ±75mA output drive at 5V in short bursts
  • Drives 50Ω transmission lines
  • Fast operation with delay of 9.6ns max (VCC = 5V, CL = 50pF)

Applications

  • Drive an indicator LED
  • Level-shift using open-drain outputs
  • Control a relay
