Texas Instruments DRV8837CEVM H-Bridge Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments DRV8837CEVM H-Bridge Evaluation Module (EVM) is a 3.3V to 11V, 1A, brushed DC motor drive and control system. This system is based on the DRV8837C integrated brushed motor driver, a compact MSP430G2131 microcontroller, and an LP2985 Low-Dropout Regulator. The evaluation module allows for a simple evaluation of the DRV8837C with a wide array of test points, interfaces, and configurability. The evaluation module has a Micro-USB connector for a simple 5V motor supply and a regulated 3.3V supply from the LP2985 LDO. It also includes test points for all control and feedback signals and simple integrated control logic on the MSP430G2131. The evaluation module has simple jumper interfaces to control the motor direction and evaluate the DRV8837C in its low-power sleep state. An onboard JTAG header allows custom firmware to be flashed to the MSP430G2131 for fast evaluation of end system control. This evaluation module is ideal for evaluation and rapid development with the Texas Instruments DRV8837C.
