Texas Instruments bq21088EVM Battery Charger Evaluation Module
Texas Instruments bq21088EVM Battery Charger Evaluation Module (EVM) was designed to evaluate the bq21088 device. The bq21088 device is an integrated battery-charge management IC that integrates the most common functions for wearable devices: linear charger, regulated output, manual reset with timer, ship mode, shutdown mode, and advanced power path. The low quiescent current (IQ) during operation and shutdown enables maximum battery life. The Texas Instruments bq21088EVM supports charge currents up to 1A and SYS currents up to 3A. It provides an external MR for device pushbutton functionality evaluation, a TS potentiometer circuit for TS functionality evaluation, and a USB2ANY port for I2C interfacing functionality. It also includes a discrete LDO regulator for digital pull-up rails with jumpers for configurability.Features
