TDK G14 & G20 G-Series GDT Varistors

TDK G14 14mm and G20 20mm G-Series GDT Varistors integrate a metal-oxide varistor (MOV) and a gas-discharge tube (GDT) into a single, hybrid design. Connecting the devices in series leverages the strengths of both elements. This configuration reduces leakage current to virtually zero, extends the lifetime of the whole component, and provides superior surge protection compared to using either element separately in parallel. These TDK GDT varistors are commonly used in power supplies, chargers, appliances, surge protection devices, and communication systems that demand efficiency and reliability.
