STMicroelectronics SM50TxAY 5000W Transient Voltage Suppressors
STMicroelectronics SM50TxAY 5000W Transient Voltage Suppressors (TVS) in SMC are designed to protect sensitive automotive circuits against surges defined in ISO 7637-2. These voltage suppressors also protect sensitive automotive circuits against electrostatic discharges according to ISO 10605. The SM50TxAY series transient voltage suppressors are suitable for e-breaker and help to comply with ISO 16750. Planar technology makes it compatible with high-end circuits where high junction temperature and low leakage current are required to provide stability and long-term reliability. These transient voltage suppressors feature JEDEC-registered package outlines and unidirectional and bidirectional types. The SM50TxAY transient voltage suppressors operate at 5000W peak pulse power dissipation and -65ºC to 175ºC storage temperature range.Features
