The cut cores contribute to downsizing and improve efficiency for transformers and inductors. Features include low core loss, a high operation flux density, and high operating temperatures. Proterial AMCC Series Cut Cores are suitable for high-frequency transformers, inductors (choke coils), and inductors for boost/down converters.

- Lower core loss than those made of other magnetic metallic materials
- Allows designing applications with high operation flux density due to high saturation flux density (BS=1.56T) and lower core loss property
- Can be used in class F insulation grade (+155°C)
