NXP Semiconductors FRDMDUALK3664EVB Evaluation Kit is a hardware tool for evaluating, developing, and rapidly prototyping an isolated network high-speed transceiver like the MC33664A. This evaluation board allows users to connect serial peripheral interface (SPI) signals from the MCU to the device and create bit pulse transmission to the bus from the transformer. The messages received can be converted bit by bit and transferred to the MCU by the SPI. Applications include automotive battery management systems (BMS).

Required Equipment

  • Use with the S32K3x4EVB-Q172 (recommended)
  • Use with other microcontroller platforms (requires breadboard design)
  • Use as standalone EVB, requires 5.0V, 200mA power supply (optional 3.3V power supply 200mA), and signal stimulation with a signal generator
