Mikroe MIKROE-2888 Cap Touch click

Mikroe MIKROE-2888 Cap Touch click is a capacitive touch sensing button integrated on a click board. This click can sense touch even through plastic, wood, or other dielectric materials that are used to protect the surface of the PCB or the sensor-pad. The MIKROE-2888 Cap Touch click can be activated by touch and unlike the mechanical button, the capacitive touch button lasts much longer. This touch-sensitive click on a device allows to accommodate a compact design and opens possibilities for various kinds of human-machine interfaces.

The MIKROE-2888 Cap Touch click is powered by Microchip AT42QT1010, a single-key QTouch® touch sensor IC. This IC features self-calibration, auto drift compensation, noise filtering, and proprietary QTouch® technology based on the patented charge-transfer method. These features enable Cap Touch click to exhibit very reliable and accurate touch detection. Typical applications include touch-activated lighting controls, touch-activated control panels, toys, and any other requirements that need a switch or a button.
