Littelfuse AK15-Y High Power TVS Diodes
Littelfuse AK15-Y High Power TVS Diodes are designed for meeting the severe surge test environment of AC and DC line protection applications. Littelfuse AK15-Y diodes are 15kA current rating diodes with fast response and ultra-low clamping characteristics compared to metal oxide varistors (MOVs). Littelfuse Foldback™ technology provides a clamping voltage lower than the avalanche voltage but above the rated working voltage. Any voltage rise due to increased current conduction is maintained at a minimum magnitude, providing a high level of protection. These AK components can be connected in series or parallel to create an extremely high surge current protection solution.
