HARTING ix Industrial Ethernet Interface System
HARTING ix Industrial® Cables establish a benchmark for Ethernet interface modularization and digitization. These cables offer a potential replacement for conventional RJ45 connections, taking up 70% less space than RJ45 with more robustness. The cables feature 5000 mating cycles and Cat6A performance for 1/10Gb/s Ethernet. The active locking of the socket and connector uses two stable metal snap-in hooks, providing clear haptic feedback to confirm a secure connection. A robust crimp connection ensures a durable interface that meets the high shock and vibration resistance established in EN 50155 railway specifications. HARTING ix Industrial Interface System is available in Type A (Cat6A Ethernet) and Type B (signal and bus communication) codings and is standardized according to IEC 61076-3-124.
