E-T-A Circuit Breakers 3120-N Next-Generation Circuit Breaker/Switch
E-T-A Circuit Breakers 3120-N Next-Generation Circuit Breaker/Switch combination unites overcurrent protection and the function of an ON/OFF switch within a single component. The trip element is a thermal bimetal. 3120-N Next-Generation Circuit Breaker/Switch, which replaces 3120-F series, is ideally suited for overload protection of motors, pumps, transformers and cables. After tripping, it can reliably, easily and quickly be reset. The positively trip-free mechanism ensures reliable disconnection of the circuit even with the actuator blocked. One of the primary goals of design engineers is to systematically reduce components. This is one of the keys to developing cost-efficient designs. In addition, fewer components, in most cases, reduce the amount of space required allowing engineers to design more compact and competitive equipment.
Integrating the 3120-N in designers' equipment allows them to:
- Reduce the number of individual components needed
- Save time when mounting and wiring components
- Save space and simplify equipment panel cutouts
- Eliminate the need for spare fuses
