Diodes Incorporated APR3492 Dual-Channel MOSFET Driver
Diodes Incorporated APR3492 Dual-Channel MOSFET Driver is a secondary-side MOSFET driver for synchronous rectification in LLC resonant converters. The SO-8 (standard) packaged APR3492 supports driving both high- and low-side N-channel MOSFETs. The driver features forward-voltage regulation during channel on-time to accelerate turn-off speed. The device also integrates turn-off blanking control logic to prevent cross-conduction between the two channels.
The Diodes Inc. APR3492 offers a light-load (LL) mode, in which the device latches off the drive signals and has a low quiescent current. An external resistor can adjust the Enter threshold of the LL mode. Meanwhile, the APR3492 minimizes turn-on/-off delays through an intelligent control topology. All these technologies help the power system achieve high efficiency.
The APR3492 driver can be used in continuous conduction mode (CCM), critical conduction mode (CrCM), and discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) with fast turn-off.
