CUI Inc P78 DC Switching Regulators offer a high-performance alternative to linear regulators. Designed as a drop-in replacement for linear LM78x and LM79x regulators, this family of DC regulators utilizes switching technology. These regulators are highly compact, highly efficient, and do not require a heat sink. These features make the P78 series ideal when board space is at a premium and energy efficiency is a concern. CUI Inc P78 DC Switching Regulators are available in a 500mA or 1A output current, in an ultra-compact SIP3 package.
