Broadcom ACFL-3161T Gate Drive Optocouplers

Broadcom ACFL-3161T Gate Drive Optocouplers are 10A peak, rail-to-rail output automotive R2Coupler™ optocouplers in a compact surface-mountable SO-12 package. These optocouplers provide an isolation voltage of 5kVrms between input and output channels. The ACFL-3161T optocouplers are designed with high-peak driving current capability to ensure optimum performance for direct driving SiC MOSFET or IGBT. These devices feature a 95ns maximum fast propagation delay, 35ns maximum dead time distortion, 15V to 30V operating supply voltage, and 4mA maximum low supply current. The ACFL-3161T optocouplers come with 8.5mm creepage and 8.3mm clearance. Typical applications include a powertrain DC-DC converter, an EV/PHEV on-board charger, and an automotive isolated MOSFET/IGBT gate drive for inverters and HVAC.
