Anderson Power Products Battery Charging Solutions offer options for conventional, opportunity, and fast charging. While conventional charging requires 8 to 10 hours to fully recharge, opportunity charging means charging at every possible opportunity to extend battery shift life (lunch breaks and downtime between shifts). Anderson fast charging solutions allow for opportunity charging sessions at 3x to 4x the rate of conventional systems with power requirements often exceeding 600A.
Motive Power Battery Charging
SB® Product Family - Ideal for conventional and opportunity charging. This family provides a wide range of cable sizes, up to 550A maximum, and 10,000 mating cycles, making it ideal for multiple daily charge cycles. SB products are cost-efficient, robust, and easy to assemble while color and mechanically keyed for voltage.
SBE® Product Family - Used for conventional, opportunity, and fast charging. The SBE family meets EN1175-1 requirements while offering 10,000 mating cycles, a wide range of cable usage, and up to 550A UL maximum.
SBX® Product Family - Ideal for conventional, opportunity, and fast charging. This product family is especially useful for fast charging. Up to 8 auxiliary contacts are available for charger/battery communication. Auxiliary contacts are used in conventional/opportunity charging for power on/off, digital signage, or vehicle lockout.
E DIN Product Family - Used for conventional, opportunity, and fast charging. The E DIN series meets 43589-1 standard and EN1175-1 standards and is useful for fast charging with up to 4 auxiliary contacts available for charger/battery communication.
