Analog Devices Inc. ADL6331 Transmit Variable Gain Amplifier (TxVGA)
Analog Devices ADL6331 Transmit Variable Gain Amplifier (TxVGA) supplies an interface from RF digital-to-analog converters (RF DACs) to a single-ended power amplifier (PA) signal chain. Each ADL6331 IC comprises a balun, two differential RF amplifiers with bypass attenuators, and a digital step attenuator (DSA) to deliver appropriate transmitter performance in a 24-terminal, 4.0mm x 4.0mm LGA package. The Analog Devices ADL6331 offers Serial-Port Interface (SPI) control to configure RF signal paths or optimize supply current vs. performance. An integrated RF balun provides a single-ended output over 0.38GHz to 8.0GHz (ADL6331-A) or 1.0GHz to 12.0GHz (ADL6331-B) with a good impedance match.
