ams OSRAM AS5173 Magnetic Position Sensor
ams OSRAM AS5173 Magnetic Position Sensor comes with a high-resolution 12-bit or 14-bit PSI5 output according to the PSI5 specification, Version 1.3 and 2.3. Based on Hall sensor technology, this device measures the flux density Bz orthogonal to the die surface, over a full-turn rotation. The ams OSRAM AS5173 compensates for external stray magnetic fields with a robust architecture that uses a 14-bit sensor array and an analog front-end (AFE). A sub-range smaller than 360° can be programmed to achieve the best resolution for the application. A two-pole magnet rotating over the center of the package is required to measure the angle.
