Allegro MicroSystems AMT49502 Development Boards (APEK49502KLP)

Allegro MicroSystems AMT49502 Development Boards (APEK49502KLP) are designed to aid system designers with evaluating the operation and performance of the AMT49502 48V Safety Automotive, Half-Bridge MOSFET Driver. The Allegro MicroSystems AMT49502 MOSFET Driver can operate in 12V and 48V systems with a 5.5V to 80V operational rating. Offering advanced diagnostics and verification features, the 24-lead eTSSOP-packaged (suffix LP) AMT49502 IC allows users to develop solutions with common software and PCB footprints for 12V and 48V systems. The AEC-Q100 Grade 0 qualified MOSFET is designed for automotive applications with high-power inductive loads, such as brush DC motors, BLDC motors, VR/SR motors, solenoids, and actuators.

Features

  • Three power supplies must be available on the board for full operation (VBB, VBRG, and VL)
  • Communication with the microcontroller is accomplished via a USB micro-B header or an IDC 26-way ribbon header
  • DIL four-way switch actuator (S1) contains three active switches (S1, S2, and S3)
  • RESETn input pin
  • Half-bridge contains three output terminals  (S, LSD, and LSS)
  • Ten different jumpers
  • Three red LEDs, each LED is used as a different indicator
