Advantech SOM-E781 COM-HPC^® Size E Extension Board features the AMD EPYC™ Embedded 8004 processor designed for high-performance edge server applications. The SOM-E781 extension builds on the capabilities of the standard COM-HPC Server Size E, providing server-grade performance with an optimized pin-out that supports up to 572W of board-to-board power. The EPYC CPU on the board supports up to 576GB of memory with six DDR5 RDIMM modules and 79 PCIe lanes up to Gen 5, which is 1.24x more than the standard COM-HPC Server Size E. This high memory capacity helps lower hardware costs while optimizing deployment space for demanding applications. The SOM-E781 board also maintains an efficient 200W power consumption.
