Analog Devices Inc. MAX17227A Switching Voltage Regulator
Analog Devices Inc. MAX17227A Switching Voltage Regulator is a 2A nanoPower boost converter with short-circuit protection and true shutdown. This switching regulator delivers a load of up to 2A peak inductor current and offers cycle-by-cycle inductor current limit and thermal protection. The MAX17227A regulator offers ultra-low quiescent current, small total solution size, and high efficiency throughout the load and line range. This switching regulator disconnects the output from the input with no forward or reverse current, saving the battery energy. The MAX17227A device operates across a 0.4V to 5.5V wide input voltage range.Analog Devices MAX17227A switching regulator operates from -40°C to +125°C. This voltage regulator is offered in a space-saving 1.58mm x 0.89mm, 6-bump WLP (3x2, 0.4mm pitch) and 8-pin, 2mm x 2mm TDFN packages. The MAX17227A regulator is ideal for battery-powered applications where long battery life and high efficiency are required at all power levels. Applications include WiFi modules, near-band IoT, wearable audio, emergency lighting, IoT sensors, and clinical instrumentation.
