Interface Click Boards

MIKROE-3045 iButton™ Click Board

Mikroe MIKROE-3045 iButton™ Click Board is a probe based on Maxim Integrated technology's 1-Wire® communication protocol. This click board has a chip that is usually packed in a robust stainless steel casing. The button-shaped MIKROE-3045 iButton has two contacts i.e., the lid and the base. These contacts carry the necessary connections down to a sensitive silicon chip that is embedded inside the metal button. Mikroe MIKROE-3045 iButton establishes communication with the host MCU when it touches the reader probe on the Click Board, via the 1-Wire interface. The communication takes place quickly as soon as the iButton is lightly pressed to the probe contacts.
