This design kit offers programmable switching frequency up to 1.5MHz, enhanced line/load regulation with feed-forward, and single-rail operation. Additional features include tracking, margining, and overcurrent protection (OCP). Applications for Infineon Technologies IRDC3894 Reference Design Kit include graphic boards, netcom and telecom, point-of-load (PoL), notebooks, servers, and storage.

Infineon IR389x Synchronous Buck Regulators are IR's third generation of integrated, feature-rich SupIRBuck® synchronous buck voltage regulators designed to address the new requirements of emerging energy efficient netcom, server and storage applications. The new SupIRBuck® single output devices feature a newly patented modulator scheme that generates the industry's smallest, jitter free pulse widths.
