VIPerPlus High Voltage Converters

STMicroelectronics VIPerPlus High Voltage Converters combine 800V avalanche-rugged MOSFET with state-of-the-art PWM circuitry. The result is an innovative AC-DC conversion that is efficient, simpler, quicker, and with component count halved, less expensive. In addition to benefits such as optimized current-mode control and comprehensive built-in protection circuits, the STMicroelectronics VIPerPlus family represents the easiest solution to comply with ENERGY STAR and Blue Angel standards, with low total power consumption from the mains when the system is in standby mode.

STEVAL-ISA178V1 Evaluation Board

STMicroelectronics STEVAL-ISA178V1 Evaluation Board uses the VIPER013XS and features an 800V, avalanche rugged primary MOSFET. The STEVAL-ISA178V1 has an input power consumption in no load condition lower than 15mW @ 230VAC. The board has an input power consumption in ZEROPOWER mode lower than 8mW @ 230VAC.
