VRE304 +4.5V Low Noise Precision Voltage Reference

Apex Microtechnology VRE304 +4.5V Low Noise Precision Voltage Reference is a low-cost, Zener-based precision voltage reference. The VRE304 provides ultrastable +4.5V output with ±0.45mV (.01%) initial accuracy. Accuracy improvement is possible by a multipoint laser compensation technique. Other improvements include performance parameters like warm-up drift, line regulation, and long-term stability. These make this series ideal for upgrading systems that use lower performance references. Temperature coefficients are as low as 0.6ppm/°C over the full industrial (0°C to +70°C) temperature range. The Apex Microtechnology VRE304 is recommended for use as a reference for 14-, 16-, or 18-bit D/A converters, which require an external precision reference. The device is also ideal for calibrating scale factors on high-resolution A/D converters.

Precision Reference Devices

Apex Microtechnology Precision Reference Devices provide ultrastable sine wave outputs and a temperature coefficient over the full military temperature range. Accuracy improvement of the Apex Microtechnology Precision Reference devices is possible through a unique proprietary multipoint laser compensation technique. Significant improvements have been made in other performance parameters, including warm-up drift, line regulation, and long-term stability.
