Texas Instruments CC2650STK SimpleLink™ Bluetooth Smart SensorTag loT Kit assists design engineers to realize cloud connected product ideas. The new SensorTag now includes 10 low power MEMS sensors in a tiny red package. It is expandable with DevPacks to make it easy to add your own sensors or actuators. You can connect to the cloud with Bluetooth Smart and get your sensor data online in 3 minutes. The SensorTag is ready to use right out the box with an iOS and Android app, no programming experience is required to get started. The new SensorTag is based on the CC2650 wireless MCU, offering 75% lower power consumption than previous Bluetooth Smart products. This allows the SensorTag to be battery powered, and offer years of battery lifetime from a single coin cell battery.

SensorTag Kits

Texas Instruments SensorTag Kits are the next-generation IoT demonstration kits that combine sensor data with cloud connectivity. These kits make IoT easy, with a secure connection to the cloud. Designers can use the SensorTag app (available for iOS and Android) to connect the user's data to the cloud in just a few minutes. These kits provide access to multiple wireless connectivity technologies. These sensor tags are available in three variants, each offering unique features. The CC2650STK covers multiple standards supporting BLUETOOTH® low energy, 6LoWPAN, and ZigBee. The CC1350STK provides access to Bluetooth low energy and Sub-1GHz long-range wireless. The CC3200STK-WIFIMK covers low-power wireless SimpleLink Wi-Fi. Each of these devices provides for low-power or battery-less operation.
