Pmod™ BLUETOOTH® Low Energy Interface

Digilent Pmod™ BLUETOOTH® Low Energy Interface (BLE) is a low cost, versatile, and low-energy peripheral module compatible with any Universal Asynchronous Receiver-Transmitter (UART) enabled development board. This module incorporates roving networks RN4870, which offers four built-in Generic Attribute Profile (GATT) services like device information, air patch, BeaconThings, and UART transparent data streaming. The BLE module features an onboard Bluetooth 4.2 low energy stack for communicating with any Bluetooth 4.0+ device using UART commands. This module provides up to five custom public and up to four custom private services, each allowing up to eight custom characteristics. The Pmod BLE comes in a small PCB size and a 12-pin Pmod connector with a UART interface.
