6W Bias Supply Evaluation Kit

Infineon Technologies 6W Bias Supply Evaluation Kit (KIT6W18VP7950VTOBO1) provides an auxiliary supply solution featuring an offline SMPS current mode controller IC and a 950V CoolMOS™ SJ MOSFET. The Infineon Technologies 6W Bias Supply Evaluation Kit is designed to run in a system continuously powered by the 400VDC output of a boost Power Factor Correction (PFC) converter and provides power to the fan, gate drivers, and controller. This 6W Bias Supply Evaluation Kit features the ICE5QSAG quasi-resonant (QR) flyback controller and IPU95R3K7P7 950V CoolMOS P7. The 950V breakdown voltage gives an additional margin to ensure the bias continues to run through surge events. This design was done as a snubberless flyback converter, improving efficiency over the entire load range.
