HVP-MC3PH High-Voltage Motor Control Platform

NXP Semiconductors HVP-MC3PH High-Voltage Motor Control Platform is a 115V/230V, 1000W, power stage that enables the development of motor control solutions using Kinetis® V Series MCUs and NXP Digital Signal Controllers. In combination with Kinetis MCU and DSC Controller Cards, the HVP-MC3PH provides a ready-made development platform for more than one horsepower off-line motors. Feedback signals allow three-phase AC induction, BLDC, or PMSM motors controlled with a wide variety of algorithms. The NXP Semiconductors HVP-MC3PH power stage includes an active interleaved Power Factor Correction (PFC) circuit that facilitates the development of PFC algorithms. The HVP-MC3PH Development Platform includes the HVP-KV46F150M Controller Card. Additional Controller cards are available separately.

NXP HVP High-Voltage Development Platforms are an evaluation and development solution for Kinetis V series MCUs and NXP Digital Signal Controllers (DSCs). The platform enables development of 3-phase PMSM, BLDC and ACIM motor control and power factor correction (PFC) solutions in a safe high-voltage environment. The High-Voltage Development Platform is an isolated solution that provides the development base for the controller cards supporting NXP MCUs. The platform comes complete with a Kinetis KV46F150M controller card. Control of the motor control stage and PFC stage is carried out via a single MCU. Input voltage is 85-240V AC, with output power of the motor stage up to 1KW, with the ability to drive a 1.2Hp motor, and 800 watts for the PFC stage.
