PWB 1W Thin Film Power Resistors

Vishay PWB 1W Thin Film Power Resistors feature a 1W power rating in a relatively small 1.78mm (0.070") square chip size. These wire-bondable resistors come in a 0707 case size with a resistance range of 0.3Ω to 20kΩ. They offer a tantalum nitride, a self-passivating resistor material, and utilize an oxidized silicon substrate for good power dissipation. Vishay PWB 1W Thin Film Power Resistors are manufactured using Vishay Electro-Films (EFI) sophisticated thin film equipment and manufacturing technology. The PWB chips are also electrically tested and visually inspected to MIL-STD-883, method 2032, class H or class K. Vishay PWB Resistors are RoHS compliant and Pb free. The PWB series is used mainly in higher-power circuits of amplifiers where increased power loads require a more specialized resistor.
