MCP8026 TQFP BLDC Motor Driver Evaluation Board

Microchip Technology MCP8026 Thin Quad Flat Package (TQFP) BLDC Motor Driver Evaluation Board is used to demonstrate the driving capabilities of MCP8026 3-Phase BLDC motor gate drivers. This board uses the MCP8026 3-Phase Brushless DC (BLDC) motor gate driver and dsPIC33EP256MC504 processor to implement a 6-step trapezoidal BLDC motor controller. The MCP8026 evaluation board operates a BLDC motor using one onboard push button to start and stop the motor and one onboard potentiometer for speed setting. This evaluation board drives a BLDC motor with a supply voltage of up to 24V and a motor current of up to 15A. The MCP8026 board provides a status indication for the power supplies and the six onboard PWM inputs.
