With High-functionality and high-performance devices for sensing and detecting rotational speed, rotational angle, position, flow, velocity, temperature, magnetism, currents, etc.

Temperature Sensors

Panasonic Temperature Sensors include board mount and NTC Thermistors. These Panasonic temperature sensors feature an accuracy of ±2.5°C or ±3°C, and a range of temperature sensors that operate from -20°C to +150°C.

Lighting Controls

Panasonic Lighting Controls include relays, capacitors, BLUETOOTH® modules, resistors, sensors, switches, and more for commercial and residential uses. As energy-efficiency standards increase and the demand for green energy increases, lighting controls become an increasingly vital application. Lighting applications can range from occupancy detection to centralized lighting controls with the goal of reducing energy consumption across multiple platforms. Panasonic offers a solution-based approach by providing a wide variety of electronic components. Panasonic Lighting Controls serve a variety of markets, including commercial (hospitals, parking garages) and residential buildings.

Maxim Occupancy Detection Solutions

Panasonic Maxim Occupancy Detection Solutions provide tremendous benefits for automation, like energy savings, comfort, and enhanced safety and security. The MAXREFDES130# can be used to maximize these benefits for legacy systems that need integration with modern control and communications. This unique design features multiple analog IO, matching the 0V to 10V and 4mA to 20mA systems that are embedded in many buildings and control systems. In addition, both nonlatching and latching relays provide the ability to control multiple power lines and control temperature, saving energy and ensuring a comfortable climate. Most importantly, Panasonic MAXREFDES130# features a 1-Wire® master bus for use with MAXREFDES131# and the 1-Wire Grid-EYE® sensor, bringing modern presence and gesture-sensing feedback to the platform.

Infrared Array Sensors Grid-EYE® Narrow Angle

Panasonic Grid-EYE® Narrow Angle Infrared Array Sensors are high-precision infrared array sensors offering temperature detection of a two-dimensional area of 64 pixels: 8 x 8 (64 pixels). The narrow-angle Grid-EYE sensors offer a digital output and either PCB mounting with a connector or a compact SMD package that is adaptive to reflow mounting. Panasonic Grid-EYE Sensors are suitable for home appliances, home automation, factory automation, and building automation.

Grid-EYE® Infrared Array Sensors

Panasonic Grid-EYE^® Infrared Array Sensors are surface mountable and feature 64 thermopile elements in an 8x8 grid format that detects absolute temperatures by infrared radiation. Grid-EYE can provide thermal images by measuring actual temperature and temperature gradients. Panasonic Grid-EYE enables the detection of multiple persons and the identification of positions and directions of movement, almost independent of ambient light conditions, without disturbing privacy as with conventional cameras. The built-in silicone lens provides a viewing angle of 60°. Measurement values are viewable through an I²C interface in 1 or 10 frames per second. The interrupt signal output quickly responds to time-critical events for a high degree of flexibility.
