TBU®-CA High-Speed Protectors

Bourns TBU®-CA High-Speed Protectors feature low capacitance and MOSFET semiconductor technology to protect against faults caused by AC power cross, short circuits, lightning surges, and induction. These single bidirectional protectors provide an effective barrier between sensitive electronics and surge events. Bourns TBU-CA protectors are ideal for voice / VDSL cards, protection modules / dongles, test and measurement equipment, general electronics, and process control equipment.

Gas Discharge Tube for RS-485 Ports

Bourns Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) for RS-485 Ports is designed to meet industry standards on RS-485 port interfaces and to provide circuit protection in noisy and harsh electrical environments. For exposed lines that may see large and fast surges and where failure is not acceptable, a three-stage Bourns protection system is recommended.

TBU® Circuit Protection Devices

Bourns TBU® Circuit Protection Devices block transients in nanoseconds through a current-disconnecting mechanism instead of diverting or shunting the surge to ground.
