IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers

ISSI IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers come with fade in/out and PWM dimming. The regulators serve as a stand-alone LED driver-configurable from 20mA to 150mA with external resistors, no microcontroller is necessary. A logic level “courtesy light” signal from the PWM pin can be interfaced to precisely drive the LED channel. The IS32LT3175P obtains a positive polarity PWM signal. In addition, the IS32LT3175N obtains a negative polarity PWM signal. The regulator integrates a 63-step fade-in and fades out the algorithm (Gamma correction). This causes the output LED current to increasingly rise up to the full source value after the EN pin is pulsed.

LM36272 2-Channel LCD Backlight Driver

Texas Instruments LM36272 2-Channel LCD Backlight Driver is an integrated two-channel WLED driver and LCD bias supply. The ultra-compact size, high efficiency, high level of integration, and programmability allow the LM36272 to address a variety of applications. The LM36272 does this without the need for hardware changes while minimizing the overall solution area. The backlight boost provides the power to bias two parallel LED strings with up to 29V total output voltage. The 11-bit LED current is programmable via the I2C bus and/or controlled via a logic level PWM input from 60µA to 30mA. Each LED string can be independently enabled or disabled to provide zone dimming capabilities. The backlight boost can be operated efficiently with an inductance range from 4.7µH to 15µH, allowing for efficiency and solution size optimization.
