With the aim of improving things like safe driving, lowering the environmental burden, and increasing passenger comfort, vehicles increasingly need a high-speed in-vehicle LAN that connect multiple ECUs (electronic control units) together. The number of sensors and camera equipment necessary to meet the demand of added functionality has contributed to weight increases in the wiring harnesses and increased EMI.
