Newhaven Display 1.8" and 4.3" Sunlight Readable Thin-Film-Transistor (TFT) Liquid Crystal Display Modules are offered in standard display, resistive, and projected capacitive touch for design flexibility. These high brightness TFTs have a typical brightness of 780cd/m2. With a wide 70° viewing angle, the Sunlight Readable Modules are easy to read in outside conditions with a bright sun.

TFT Displays & Modules

Newhaven Display TFT (Thin-Film Transistor) Displays and Modules deliver full-color, high-resolution visual performance engineered for modern embedded systems. These displays include TN and IPS technology options, with IPS panels offering wide viewing angles, enhanced color accuracy, and improved outdoor readability. The TFT displays offer touchscreen options, including resistive and capacitive touch panels. These displays are available in sizes ranging from 1.5in to 10.1in, including square, round, and bar-type formats. 4.3” IPS TFT Displays

Newhaven Display 4.3” IPS TFT Displays are based on In-Plane Switching (IPS) Technology. With IPS technology, electrodes are arranged with the liquid crystals inside the display rotated in parallel with the screen, rather than twisting and standing upright like with Twisted Nematic (TN) technology. IPS Displays offer truer color reproduction, excellent viewing angles, and better contrast.
