S12 MagniV® Mixed-Signal Microcontrollers

NXP Semiconductors S12 MagniV® Family of Mixed-Signal Microcontrollers includes single-die solutions designed to provide a comprehensive system-in-package (SiP) built on proven S12 technology. With the integration of high-voltage (HV) analog features into a standard automotive MCU, the S12 MagniV family simplifies system design by helping to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce bill of materials costs.

SafeAssure™ Program for Functional Safety

NXP Semiconductors SafeAssure™ is a comprehensive program for fast time to market and scalability. NXP continues to design for safe and securely connected mobility, enabling carmakers to develop smarter solutions for assisted and autonomous driving, connectivity, and electrification challenges. NXP safety products are compliant with ISO 26262 and are created through the development process BCAM7, which complies with ISO 26262 and is certified by TÜV SÜD. NXP safety products are designed as SEooC, prepared to fit into a range of systems. The SafeAssure program at NXP implements Vision Zero, zero accidents on the road. Safety does not evolve overnight, but it is achievable with organizations committed to growing their safety expertise and competency.

S12ZVL MagniV® Mixed-Signal Microcontrollers

NXP Semiconductors S12ZVL MagniV Mixed-Signal Microcontrollers are an automotive 16-bit MCU family using the 180nm NVM + UHV technology that offers the capability to integrate 40V analog components. This family reuses many features from the existing S12 portfolio. The particular differentiating features of this family are the enhanced S12Z core and the integration of "high-voltage" analog modules, including the voltage regulator (VREG) and a Local Interconnect Network (LIN) physical layer. The S12ZVL-Family includes an error correction code (ECC) on RAM, FLASH, and EEPROM for diagnostic or data storage, a fast analog-to-digital converter (ADC), and a frequency modulated phase-locked loop (IPLL) that improves the EMC performance. The NXP S12ZVL-Family delivers an optimized solution with the integration of several key system components into a single device, optimizing system architecture and achieving significant space savings.
