These devices also include 16MHz performance and dual-partition memory with up to 1024KB of Flash and a rich Core Independent Peripherals (CIPs) set. With Flash memory densities ranging from 16KB to 1MB and packages ranging from 28–121 pins, the PIC24F family gives the user a differentiated general-purpose MCU ideal for many space-constrained, low-power, cost-sensitive industrial, audio, and consumer applications. The Microchip PIC24F portfolio also offers an upgrade in features and peripherals for applications pushing the boundaries of 8-bit MCU capabilities, making it the ideal migration device for former 8-bit MCU users.

PIC24FJxxGx 16-bit Microcontrollers

Microchip Technology PIC24FJ64Gx, PIC24FJ128Gx, and PIC24FJ256Gx 16-bit Microcontrollers (MCUs) are ideal for low power and connectivity applications. These devices offer multiple I2C, SPI, and UART peripherals, and multiple independent timers. These MCUs are available with 8kB to 16kB RAM memory for buffering and 64kB to 256kB Enhanced Flash program memory. The PIC24FJxxGx family of microcontrollers are offered in in 28, 44, 64, 80, 100, and 121 pin packages for design flexibility.
