ESD Protection Solutions

SP402X TVS Diode Arrays

Littelfuse SP402X TVS Diode Arrays integrate low capacitance steering diodes with one or two zener diodes to provide unidirectional or bidirectional protection against ESD and lightning induced surge events. The device can safely absorb 30A per IEC61000-4-5 (tp=8/20μs) without performance degradation and can withstand a minimum ±30kV ESD per IEC61000-4-2 international standard. The SP402X Series low capacitance of 2.5pF, low leakage current, and small SOD323 package make it ideal for protecting telecommunication ports such as Ethernet and other high speed data interfaces. Typical applications include 10/100/1000 Ethernet, T4/E1/T3/E3, USB 1.1/2.0, power ports, computers and peripherals, instrumentation, and medical equipment.

Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes

Littelfuse TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) Diodes are a broad range of circuit protection products designed to protect electronic circuits against transients and overvoltage threats such as EFT (electrically fast transients) and ESD (electro-static discharge). Lightning strikes, inductive load switching, and ESD cause electrical over-stresses associated with the transmission on data lines and electronic circuits. Offered in a variety of surface mount and through-hole circuit board mounting formats, the TVS Diode portfolio includes high peak pulse current and peak pulse power options up to 20kA and 30kW, respectively. Littelfuse TVS Diodes are chosen for the fast response time (low clamping voltage), lower capacitance, and low leakage current. TVS Diodes are available in both unidirectional (unipolar) or bidirectional (bipolar) diodes circuit configurations. 

Ethernet ESD, Lightning, & Power Fault Protection

Littelfuse Ethernet/PoE ESD, EFT, Lightning, and Power Fault Protection ensures that the power fault overcurrent can be protected with Telelink fuses. The Ethernet Power Fault Protection includes the SMCJ and SP40 TVS Diode, SP3, SRV05xx, LC03xx, and SP40xx Diode Array, and the 0461xxx Fuse series. Littelfuse Ethernet/PoE ESD, EFT, Lightning, and Power Fault Protection products meet various applicable standards. 

Lightning Surge TVS SPA Diodes

Littelfuse Lightning Surge TVS SPA Diodes are designed to limit the amount of unwanted voltages to prevent damage by blocking the surges. Applications for Littelfuse Lightning Surge TVS SPA Diodes include lightning I/O, 10/100/1000 Ethernet, and 2500/5000/10000 Ethernet.

TVS Silicon Protection Arrays (SPA)

Littelfuse Silicon Protection Array (SPA®) TVS Diodes are designed to protect electronics from very fast and damaging voltage transients, such as lightning and electrostatic discharge (ESD). These diodes offer an ideal protection solution for I/O interfaces and digital and analog signal lines in computer and consumer portable electronics. Littelfuse TVS diodes offer a broader application use and improved impulse protection performance over conventional diodes.
