SLD5S Unidirectional Surface Mount TVS Diodes

Littelfuse SLD5S Unidirectional Surface Mount TVS Diodes are designed to protect sensitive electronics against ESD, EFT, and 10/1000 surge events. SLD5S components also protect against inductive load switching voltage transient events for severe Automotive Load Dump applications. These Littelfuse TVS Diodes are housed in an SMTO-263 package with lead modifications.

Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes

Littelfuse TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) Diodes are a broad range of circuit protection products designed to protect electronic circuits against transients and overvoltage threats such as EFT (electrically fast transients) and ESD (electro-static discharge). Lightning strikes, inductive load switching, and ESD cause electrical over-stresses associated with the transmission on data lines and electronic circuits. Offered in a variety of surface mount and through-hole circuit board mounting formats, the TVS Diode portfolio includes high peak pulse current and peak pulse power options up to 20kA and 30kW, respectively. Littelfuse TVS Diodes are chosen for the fast response time (low clamping voltage), lower capacitance, and low leakage current. TVS Diodes are available in both unidirectional (unipolar) or bidirectional (bipolar) diodes circuit configurations.

Automotive TVS Diodes

Littelfuse AEC-Q101 Qualified TVS Diodes protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by load dump and other transient voltage events. These AEC-Q101 qualified devices offer peak pulse power dissipation ratings of 400W (SZ1SMA) to 3000W (TPSMD). Littelfuse AEC-Q101 Qualified TVS Diodes are ideal for applications such as DC power protection and ESD protection in automotive electronics such as electronic control units, sensors, and entertainment systems, as well as in portable devices that require high reliability.
