Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes

Littelfuse TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) Diodes are a broad range of circuit protection products designed to protect electronic circuits against transients and overvoltage threats such as EFT (electrically fast transients) and ESD (electro-static discharge). Lightning strikes, inductive load switching, and ESD cause electrical over-stresses associated with the transmission on data lines and electronic circuits. Offered in a variety of surface mount and through-hole circuit board mounting formats, the TVS Diode portfolio includes high peak pulse current and peak pulse power options up to 20kA and 30kW, respectively. Littelfuse TVS Diodes are chosen for the fast response time (low clamping voltage), lower capacitance, and low leakage current. TVS Diodes are available in both unidirectional (unipolar) or bidirectional (bipolar) diodes circuit configurations. 

P6KE Axial Leaded Uni-/Bi-Directional TVS Diodes

Littelfuse P6KE Axial Leaded Uni-/Bi-Directional TVS Diodes are designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. The P6KE diodes offer fast response times, excellent clamping capabilities, and low incremental surge resistance. Operating in a wide -55°C to +175°C junction temperature range, the axial leaded diodes feature a 5.8V to 550V working voltage range, 600W peak pulse capability (single-die parts) at 10/1000μs waveform, and 750mA to 58.1A peak pulse current range. These TVS components are ideal for the protection of I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits used in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronic applications.
